The social insurance includes the pension, medical insurance, parturition insurance, work-related injury insurance, and unemployment insurance in accordance with the [scheme](https://drive.google.com/a/gitlab.com/file/d/0B4eFM43gu7VPSFluNzZscTFaMzQ/view?usp=sharing) chosen by GitLab. ## GitLab Inc. China Leave Policy: There are many regulations and policies around different types of leave in China. Different regions have separate statutes, and it is also influenced by many factors, such as the employee’s work period and actual situation from the hospital. CIIC will provide the support when the featured employee is in need. ## Local Employees At the moment, Gitlab only hires employees through our partner CIIC. CIIC can only employ local candidates. The candidate's household registration must be a Mainland China's household registration.
